Why Choose the OUTR Kamado Grill?
A Kamado grill is made primarily of ceramic, which is excellent at trapping heat and emitting a unique type of heat radiation. This means your meat, fish, and other dishes stay moist and tender when cooked on it.
Thanks to its ceramic design, it's easy to maintain a constant temperature, allowing you to precisely control the heat. Plus, this versatile device can do it all: grilling, smoking, baking, steaming, and slow cooking – it's a kitchen in your outdoor space.

Slow Cooking Tips:
For slow cooking, it's best to avoid direct contact between the meat and the coals. You can achieve this by using a heat deflector, which acts as a barrier between the fire and your meat. This method is perfect for slow-cooking large cuts of meat.
Alternatively, consider a set of grids with multiple levels. This not only provides more cooking space but allows you to bake at different temperatures. You can also use the half grids at different heights, making it convenient for refilling charcoal or using the indirect grilling method.

Durable Build: Crafted with enamelled ceramic and steel, this grill is built to withstand the elements, promising longevity.
Enhance Your Slow Cooking Experience:
For slow-cooking aficionados, it's crucial to avoid direct contact between your food and the coals. That's where a heat deflector or a set of grids (including heating plates) comes into play:
Heat Deflector: A ceramic plate placed between the fire and your food ensures indirect grilling, perfect for slow-cooking larger cuts of meat.
Set of Grids: With multiple levels, these grids offer versatile cooking options. Use the two half grids at different heights, or remove one for easy charcoal refilling. You can also combine direct and indirect grilling by using one heating plate, allowing you to sear your meat and then finish cooking it gently.
Operating Instructions:
Initial Use: When using the Kamado for the first time, perform a burn-in process by gently heating it to 100-150°C for about an hour, then let it cool down. Repeat this process three times for optimal performance.
Maintenance: Regularly lubricate the upper daisy wheel (upper air control) with vegetable oil.
Starting a Fire: Begin by placing firelighters on the charcoal plate at the bottom, followed by adding two handfuls of charcoal.
Safety First: Never use gasoline, turpentine, benzene, alcohol, or any other liquid kindling products. Overloading with fuel can damage the Kamado, so use approximately five centimetres of charcoal for most uses.
Extinguishing the Fire: To extinguish the fire, stop the fuel supply and close all openings and the lid. Avoid using water, as it may damage the ceramic.
Storage and Cleaning:
Store the Kamado in a cool, frost-free place when not in use, ideally indoors during winter.
The Kamado is self-cleaning when heated to 260°C for 30 minutes, eliminating residues and dirt.
Do not use water or cleaning products inside the Kamado, as the porous walls can absorb liquid and potentially cause damage.
For grill and grate cleaning, use a non-abrasive detergent once the grill has cooled down. Please note that the grill is not dishwasher safe.
When cleaning the outside, wait until the Kamado has completely cooled down, then use a damp cloth with a mild detergent for a spotless finish.

How to season a gas grill for the first time
Unlock the Secrets of Grill Seasoning! 🔥🔧
Ever wondered what it means to season a grill? 🤔 No, it's not about sprinkling herbs and spices, but a crucial process known as 'curing.' Heating the metal grates, adding oil, and letting it cool helps protect your grill from rust and extends its life.
Why Season Your Grill Before the First Use?
When your brand-new grill hasn't met fire, neither have its grates. Seasoning is like training it for its inaugural feast. Uncoated grates, especially cast iron and carbon steel, are prone to rust without this protective process. Locking in oils not only prolongs their life but also enhances grill marks and imparts that smoky outdoor barbecue flavor we all love.
How to Season Your Grill for the First Time: 🌟
- Place your clean grate on the barbecue over medium heat: Clean brand-new grates or those collected dust need a quick kitchen cleanup. For used grills, a wire brush is essential.
- When hot, apply a small amount of oil: After 10 minutes of heating, apply oil evenly. Canola or peanut oil works best, but coconut or vegetable oil is fine. Turn the grill to high heat for 15 minutes to let the oil cure.
- Let the grates cool: Once the oil reaches its smoking point, turn off the barbecue, and let the grates cool. You may repeat the oiling process for a brand-new grill.
- Wipe away excess oil: After cooling, wipe any excess oil with a cloth or rag. Your grill is now seasoned and ready for action!
