Sunstone Ruby Series 5 Burner Built In Gas BBQ
The Sunstone Ruby Series 5 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ is the perfect addition to any outdoor kitchen installation. Amazingly functional and a beautiful design piece, the Ruby Series is really something to behold. Like all Sunstone Gas BBQ models, The Ruby is constructed from complete 304-gauge stainless steel with a double walled hood. This is finished with sleek, stylish polished accents which really set this wonderful machine apart.
The Ruby Series 5 is packed full of innovative features that you will not find on any other BBQ model on the market.
The exclusive 304 grade stainless steel 'I' Burners provide perfectly even heat distribution. These burners not only offer great performance, but also come with a lifetime warranty, giving you peace of mind for years to come. The warming grid is designed to push heat forward to avoid cold spots at the front of the BBQ. All in all, this means that no matter where you place your food, it will cook at the rate that is expected. These burners are ignited with Flame-Thrower Igniters on each burner.
Stainless steel cooking grids are included with the Ruby. These grills though, go further than you could imagine. The rods are set at variable widths. This means that you can cook hot dogs at the centre of the BBQ and larger foods on the outside without the fear of losing anything through the grills. To finish this off the Thermal Cooking Grid is designed to transfer heat evenly across the surface meaning that it will heat up to 370 degrees C with the hood up or 430 degrees C with the hood down in less than three minutes. All of this from a single burner!
The warming rack tilts away to the rear. This will send grease to the back of the of BBQ for it to run safely away meaning less flare ups.
To keep the heat in the Ruby, back wind guards are fitted. No matter the conditions, this BBQ will do the job every time.
Even accessing the controls of the Ruby Series 5 Burner BBQ has been meticulously thought about. The front fascia is hinged at the bottom so that it can easily drop open in case of any service needs.
If you are thinking of rotisserie cooking, the Ruby has options. There are two rotisserie rod holders fitted to the BBQ. High and low, depending on where you want to situate the rotisserie rod.
As well as this, the extra wide rear rotisserie burner will give you yet another cooking option. This combines with the rotisserie kit with heavy duty electric motor.
Don't forget the lights! The Ruby Series features extra bright halogen internal cooking lights and LED light accents in the control dials.
Finally, the extra-large temperature gauge will let you know the oven temperature at all times without the need to get your glasses out.
With all of this, there really is nothing else you need from a built in BBQ. The Ruby Series simply has it all...and a little more.

How to season a gas grill for the first time
Unlock the Secrets of Grill Seasoning! 🔥🔧
Ever wondered what it means to season a grill? 🤔 No, it's not about sprinkling herbs and spices, but a crucial process known as 'curing.' Heating the metal grates, adding oil, and letting it cool helps protect your grill from rust and extends its life.
Why Season Your Grill Before the First Use?
When your brand-new grill hasn't met fire, neither have its grates. Seasoning is like training it for its inaugural feast. Uncoated grates, especially cast iron and carbon steel, are prone to rust without this protective process. Locking in oils not only prolongs their life but also enhances grill marks and imparts that smoky outdoor barbecue flavor we all love.
How to Season Your Grill for the First Time: 🌟
- Place your clean grate on the barbecue over medium heat: Clean brand-new grates or those collected dust need a quick kitchen cleanup. For used grills, a wire brush is essential.
- When hot, apply a small amount of oil: After 10 minutes of heating, apply oil evenly. Canola or peanut oil works best, but coconut or vegetable oil is fine. Turn the grill to high heat for 15 minutes to let the oil cure.
- Let the grates cool: Once the oil reaches its smoking point, turn off the barbecue, and let the grates cool. You may repeat the oiling process for a brand-new grill.
- Wipe away excess oil: After cooling, wipe any excess oil with a cloth or rag. Your grill is now seasoned and ready for action!
