Choose your cooking plate wisely
When it comes to planchas and electric grills, the plates are the key elements for successful cooking. Hence the importance of not skimping on their quality. At Riviera-et-Bar, we favor massive cast aluminum plates and premium coatings to resist high temperatures (up to 250°C) and rapid power increases over time. All our coatings are guaranteed PFOA-free. Depending on the model, our cooking plates may or may not be removable. All are dishwasher safe, including our plates with integrated resistances. Even if, in reality, ice cubes on the hot plates are already very effective.
The details that make the difference
Plancha plate (smooth) or grill plate (grooved)? It's not always easy to choose. A plancha-grill combination can be a good compromise. If you are a fan of thick meats and beautiful fish, do not hesitate to choose one of our models with a Power Zone booster (designed especially for this purpose) or with a thermostat. Thermostats are also very practical for all recipes that require precise temperature control. Steak house fans, our models with temperature probe should excite you. And for lovers of healthy cooking, choose a model with an inclined cooking plate or juice collector drawer.
