Planter 70 Fire Pit with Log Store

The Planter 70 fire pit stands tall so that you can too.  It’s the perfect pit for those of us who eschew lounging by the fire and prefer to nip nimbly between table and flame, or stand around chatting whilst also keeping a keen eye on the chimchurri glaze.  Thanks to Tim’s clever design, this elegant fire pit has a deep fire bowl, which reduces the ember blow and smokey drift so that you can stand close or even pull the Planter 70 up to your table.  At the end of the night, when the lounger in you finally emerges, that same deep fire bowl radiates heat at a low level to keep you warm as you have a well-earned rest.  And you don’t even have to go far to put on the one last log.

The Planter fire pit is one of our tallest models, enabling you to cook at hip height or draw your fire pit up to the table. The deep, 70cm wide fire bowl has been designed to burn efficiently and help to reduce the ember blow. Like all our fire pits; it is made from high quality British steel, giving it the strength and longevity to stand the test of time. Adding to its charm and ingenuity is the Planter 70’s integrated log store; a practical yet stylish addition which also makes this fire pit suitable to sit on wooden decking.

Like most of our fire pits, the Planter 70 can accommodate our innovative Swing Arm BBQ Rack. The swivel arm gives you control when cooking over wood. It is easily removable to allow you to enjoy the amber glow late into the evening when all the cooking is done. The Swing Arm can also be teamed up with our Hanging Cooking Bowl for stews, soups and the odd glass of mulled cider; and the Flat Bottomed Hanging Skillet Pan so that you can bring your foodie masterpieces from the fire to the table.

Maintaining your fire pit

NB: All our fire pits, lids, and accessories will begin to rust immediately and will not maintain their black finish. However, this will not affect their long-term durability. As all our fire pits are handmade from sheet steel which has naturally occurring blemishes, there may be very slight variations in the forging and finish. Current delivery times – Fire pits: we aim to dispatch orders within 2 weeks from date of order / Indian fire bowls: within 5 working days of date of order.

Please note that our deliveries are classed as ‘kerbside’ which means the driver will not be able to carry the fire pit into your garden. If there is no one at home, they will leave the pallet or box in a safe location if available.

We ship smaller items via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Larger and heavier items are shipped via LTL freight.

Order Processing:

After your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation from us. As soon as your order is placed, we begin processing the order and arranging shipping. In-stock orders typically ship within 3-15 business days after your order is placed. We do not guarantee shipping transit times.

Shipping Transit Times:

Most items take 3-15 business days to deliver after they have left the warehouse. Shipping transit times are not guaranteed - they are estimates based on our experience. Please note that Some items may be on a pre order status if thats is the case we will contact you.

We strongly advise you not to schedule contractors until your order is fully delivered and all items inspected.

Freight Shipping:

If your item is too big and/or too heavy to fight in a normal postal carrier vehicle, your product will be shipped via a freight carrier. We reserve the right to choose which freight carrier delivers your shipment.

Freight shipping is more complicated than a regular postal carrier delivery. Here are some important things to know about freight shipping:

You must be physically present to accept delivery. The freight carrier will either call to schedule a delivery appointment or notify you before delivery. Freight shipments are dropped off at your curb.The driver is NOT expected to deliver your items to your front door, garage, back yard, etc. It's a good idea to have other people there to help you move the shipment.

Extra charges may apply if redelivery needs to be arranged because nobody was at the delivery location. You must sign for the shipment upon acceptance.

7. Approved Returns Procedure:

• You are responsible for return shipping costs.
• Original shipping charges are ineligible for refund.
• Upon approval, we'll send Return Approval with shipping labels and instructions.
• After receiving and inspecting the return, a refund will be issued, less shipping costs and associated charges.
